Our Process for creating A successful brand
Both transparency and a good process are hugely important in building successful partnerships. Here, I have broken down my client and design process so you have clarity of what goes on and when it happens.
Client Process
01 INITIAL CALL
Let’s connect by jumping on a quick call to outline the scope of the project, design style, project goals, deliverables, timeframes, budgets, etc. Typically, these are all verbally agreed upon on this call.
02 PROPOSAL
We’ll send over the proposal after our call outlining the project details, deliverables, and price. Once signed we will connect further about the project and send the first invoice to kick off the project. We can only progress to design once these have been signed and paid.
03 DESIGN
Now we can get designing! We’ll connect over another call to discuss your brand and style in more detail, looking for ways to solve visual problems and connect you to your target audience. Depending on the type of project, we will talk through a mood board to get a better direction of your style. Then, with your answers in mind, we will move forward with designing answers that best reflect your brand.
04 REVIEW
Now we’ll send you a style scape that includes several logo options in different formats and variations, colors, fonts, and some style frames giving you a peek into your brand’s future and how your unique brand style will be applied.
05 FINAL/FEEDBACK
After you receive the stylescape, take some time to review it with your team. You’ll be the main point of contact to collect and consolidate feedback. If there are any tweaks, I’ll send over an updated stylescape for approval before moving forward with the style guide.
06 APPROVAL & SIGN OFF
The final stage is for you to receive all of your brand files, assets, and style guide and pay the final invoice. We love to check in with our clients from time to time after we complete your project to see how everything is going and assist if you need help with anything else.

01 Strategy Call + Moodboard
Research: To kick off the project we will start by sending you a brand brief to learn more about your brand. Before our strategy call, our team will conduct thorough research into your industry, competitors, and target market to gain a comprehensive understanding of your brand's potential positioning and identity.
Mood Board Creation: Based on the insights gathered from the brand brief you filled out and our research, we will create a mood board. This mood board serves as a way for us to discuss the potential visual representation of your brand's aesthetic direction, including color palettes, typography, imagery, and overall style. The mood board helps align your vision before moving forward with the design process. We will discuss this in our strategy call.
Strategy Call: It’s now your brand week! So we’ll begin with a strategy call where we will discuss your project scope, vision, and goals. We will also discuss the mood board, design process, and next steps.
02 Logo + Style Development
Conceptualization: With the mood board and our strategy call as a guide, we will begin the process of brainstorming and sketching logo concepts. This stage involves exploring various ideas, typography options, and graphical elements that reflect the brand's identity and resonate with its target audience.
Iteration and Feedback: Multiple logo variaitons are developed along with a style scape for you to review and provide feedback. Based on your input, we will make any tweaks until the final logo suite and design style is approved.
Style Development: In addition to the logo, the design team develops the overall visual style of the brand, including secondary graphics, patterns, textures, and any other design elements that will be used across various brand touchpoints.
03 Style Guide
Compilation: Once the logo and visual style are finalized, the design team creates a style guide. Depending on your brand package you will either receive a 1 page usage guide or a comprehensive style guide. Both guides will contain aspects of the brand's visual identity, including logo variations, color palettes with specific color codes, typography choices with font families, imagery, and any other relevant design elements.
Application Guidelines: The comprehensive style guide (only) will also provide instructions on how to apply the brand's visual elements consistently across different mediums, such as print collateral, digital platforms, signage, merchandise, etc. It ensures that the brand maintains a cohesive and recognizable identity across all touchpoints.
04 Deliverables
Final Assets: Once everything is approved, we’ll prepare the final deliverables, which may include various file formats of the logo (e.g., vector files for scalability), branded templates (e.g., letterheads, business cards), and any other design assets specified in the project scope. Everything is neatly organized within an online storage filing system which will be easy for you to download.
05 Ready to Launch
Implementation: With all deliverables approved and finalized, the brand is now ready to launch. We’ll pass off all the files upon the final payment of your invoice. If you have chosen the brand and marketing package, this is where we’ll transition to assisting with implementing the new brand identity across various channels and launching your marketing strategy, ensuring a smooth transition and consistent application of your brand and marketing strategy.
Celebrate: Don’t forget to celebrate your big accomplishment! Share the news will a colleague, treat yourself to dinner, or simply rest in the satisfaction of a job well done!
