Elegant and Traditional Brand Identity for Jacobstown Baptist Church in Jacobstown, New Jersey

Historical church desired to connect with their community by updating their brand identity to better represent their traditional and biblically founded values.

Brand identity for Jacobstown Baptist Church in Jacobstown, NJ.

For this project, we created a visual identity package and educated/guided the church leadership to a brand that best fit their local church.

Our goal with this visual identity is to update the brand to make it fresh and modern while maintaining the traditional aspects of their church. We focused on building trust through their local audience by leaning into the attributes of their physical building and steeple.

After the initial call and mood board and first round of concepts, the leadership felt most connected to their churchโ€™s steeple. They felt like it could represent their church well. Since a steeple is a traditional aspect of a church, this felt most fitting to their brand.

By digitally recreating their steeple, the steeple icon felt very personal to their brand and community. It also is a good visual reference to show that their church is based on a biblical foundation.

This new branding package proved to create excitement and sparked new opportunities to market their church and ministry to other areas in Jacobstown, NJ and for their church to share the gospel in their community.

We balanced the traditional aspect of the brand identity with a simple and elegant look that will bring this church into the modern 21st century.
